This document is a general template provided for informational purposes and should be reviewed by legal counsel before publication.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Paceline Communications LLC ("Paceline," "we," "us," or "our"), operator of Paceline Mobile and the website at pacelinemobile.com, handles information in connection with our managed mobile connectivity services. Paceline provides secure, policy-managed SIM and eSIM connectivity to organizations. We do not offer consumer retail plans.

Our customers are organizations. In most cases, the individuals whose devices use our connectivity are administered by our customer organizations, and those organizations are responsible for their own relationships with, and notices to, their personnel and users. This Policy explains the information Paceline itself handles as a managed-connectivity provider.

Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to establish, administer, and support our services, including:

  • Business and contact details. Organization name, business address, and the names, titles, email addresses, and telephone numbers of authorized administrators and points of contact.
  • Account and subscriber administration data. Information used to set up and manage accounts, subscribers, and devices, such as SIM and eSIM identifiers, device identifiers, assigned plans, service configurations, and administrative settings established by the customer.
  • Connectivity usage and diagnostic metadata. Operational and technical information generated in the course of providing connectivity, such as activation status, data usage volumes, service events, and network diagnostic information needed to deliver, monitor, troubleshoot, and bill for the service.
  • Communications. Records of support requests, correspondence, and other communications you send to us.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, provision, configure, and maintain the connectivity services;
  • Administer accounts, subscribers, and devices, and apply the policies and settings established by our customers;
  • Monitor service health, troubleshoot issues, and maintain the security and integrity of the service;
  • Measure usage, calculate charges, and manage billing;
  • Communicate with administrators about service, support, and operational matters; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements and policies.

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to deliver and support the service, and as required by law. Specifically:

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors and service providers who perform functions on our behalf (for example, billing, hosting, and support tooling), strictly to enable them to provide those functions.
  • Underlying network and carrier partners. As a managed mobile connectivity provider, we rely on underlying network and carrier partners to deliver connectivity. We share information with these partners strictly as necessary to provision, deliver, and support the service.
  • Legal and compliance. We may disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Paceline, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers. Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services, to comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We encourage customers to safeguard their own credentials and administrative access.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction and applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, update, or request deletion of certain personal information, and to make certain choices about how information is used. Because much of the information we handle is administered on behalf of our customer organizations, requests from an organization's personnel or users should generally be directed to that organization. Where Paceline is the appropriate party, you may contact us using the details below, and we will respond consistent with applicable law.

International Information Transfers

We may process and store information in locations other than where it was originally collected, including in the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. Where required by applicable law, we take steps to provide appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
